Rue du Pré-de-la-Reine
In development
Cartigny, a village in Geneva, evolves from one summer to the next. The personal and collective stories of the patrician families, along with the transient voices from Ukraine and Somalia, map a village in motion. After winter, the villagers come together to organize the village's age-old traditions, celebrating the return of spring with music and allowing diverse voices to blend in unison. For the rest of the year, they coexist in silence. As local memories are documented, the paradox of the rural fabric and the fragility of coexistence in this country become apparent.
