Aveuglément

In development

Since Artan's incarceration for violent theft, Laurie has rebuilt her life. She moved, got a divorce, found a new job, and enrolled their daughters, Gloria and Victorine, in a new school. For the past few months, she has even been in a relationship with Hugo, a young paramedic who is madly in love with her. But when her ex-husband is released from prison, determined to make amends for his past actions, Laurie's newfound stability begins to waver.

Olga Baillif

Born in Geneva in 1969, Olga Baillif spent her childhood on the stage of the Théâtre du Loup before turning to cinema. She trained in Belgium at INSAS, graduating in 1993.

Her professional career began with the documentary Le Loup et les Architectes (1994), about the atypical construction of this Geneva theater. However, she established herself in Brussels, working as an assistant director and production manager for seven years.

In 2002, her first fiction short film, Nuit de noces (Films des Tournelles, Lux Fugit Film), won awards at the Locarno, Tout Ecran-Genève, Premiers Plans-Angers, and FIFF-Namur festivals, and was nominated for the European Short Film Awards.

Subsequently, she wrote and directed both fiction and documentary films with various Swiss, Belgian, and French production companies:

  • The documentary Kint, de l’autre côté (PCT Cinéma Télévision, Cobra Film) explores her Hungarian family’s exile (special mention at Vision du Réel in 2004);

  • The medium-length fiction film Nos Jours (Need Production) questions the choice of giving up motherhood (2007);

  • The short film Détours is part of the film collection “La faute à Rousseau” (2012);

  • In 2017, she directed her first feature-length fiction film, Autour de Luisa (Alina Film, Néon Rouge), a portrait of a rock singer who leaves her partner and their band.

All her films have traveled to international festivals.

In parallel, she has made numerous television reports. First in Belgium, with CIRTEF and RTBF, and since 2013 with RTS, where she regularly collaborates with various magazines.
