As Peru spirals into political unrest in 1992, Lucia and Aurora are about to leave with their mom for a better life in America. But to go they need their father to sign consent papers. Carlos has been absent for all their childhood, but now he decides to fight to win his two "queens" back.

Filmmaker
Klaudia Reynicke is a Swiss and Peruvian screenwriter and director who grew up between Peru, Switzerland and the United States. In 2005 she attended the Tisch school of Arts at New York University where she directed her first short film “Great expectations: NY“. In 2010, she obtained a Masters in filmmaking from the Cantonal Art School of Lausanne (ECAL) and from the Geneva High School of Art and Design (HEAD).

Diego Vega
Diego Vega is a Peruvian filmmaker and screenwriter living in Barcelona.
His three feature films, “Octubre” (2010), “El Mudo” (2013) and “La bronca” (2019) were selected at Cannes, Locarno, TIFF, San Sebastián, NDNF MoMA, BAFICI, Mar del Plata, Karlovy Vary, where they received recognitions, including the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize, the Locarno Silver Leopard, Best Direction in BAFICI, Jury Mention in San Sebastian, among others.
Also along with his brother Daniel Vega, they have directed the series “El día de mi suerte” (2019) for Movistar+ selected for Festival Séries Mania. They were invited as directors for “El chapo” (2017-2018) for Netlifx. He works as a writer for directors.
