Aurélie, a police inspector, inadvertently let escape a young man called Florian who was suspected of being involved in the disappearance of his girlfriend Julia. A few days later, she discovers that Florian has been placed under arrest on a Swiss cargo ship for the murder of a sailor… Aurélie is sent to South Africa to bring him back and soon establishes that Julia was a passenger on the same ship a few weeks earlier. But as she pursues her investigation – all alone – she faces mounting opposition from the crew. The tension rises steadily, and Julia’s ghost seems to hover over the freighter...

Denis Rabaglia
Born in Martigny, Denis Rabaglia is a writer-director and producer with both Swiss and Italian nationalities.
He made his first films at the age of 15 with a super 8 camera. He then worked at Canal 9 (local Swiss TV station) where he directed music videos and short films.
In 1993, he directed his first feature film Grossesse nerveuse. However, it is with Azzurro in 2000 that he is noticed by the general public and in festivals. I directed also Marcello Marcello (2008), a romantic comedy with a Neapolitan touch. He has also directed two films for television: Nervous Pregnancy (1993) with Tom Novembre -(Max Ophüls Prize 1994) and Pas de panique (2006), with Frédéric Diefenthal and Roland Giraud (Swissperform Prize 2017 for best telefilm). He is also the educational manager of Production Value – The European Scheduling and Budgeting Workshop and chairman of the board of directors of the Swiss Society of Authors (SSA), a cooperative active in the management of copyright in the scene and the audiovisual sector.
