Norah grew up in France with her mother and sister after her father abandoned them to return to live in Africa with their younger brother Sony, then five years old. Thirty years later, he summons her to Dakar to ask for her help. Norah, now a thirty-eight-year-old lawyer, leaves her Parisian life in order to solve a crucial case about which she ignores almost everything.

Anup Singh
Born in East Africa, Tanzania (Dar es Salaam). He graduated in Literature and Philosophy at Bombay University. Later, he studied at the Film and TV Institute of India in Poona, obtaining his director’s diploma in 1986. He lives and works in Geneva for almost twenty years.

Ramata-Toulaye Sy
After completing a Master’s degree in Performing Arts with a specialization in Cinema and Audiovisual at the University of Paris Nanterre and a Master’s degree in Screenwriting at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français, Ramata Toulaye Sy attended the Equal Opportunity Workshops at La Fémis in 2009-2010. She passed the La Fémis competition in 2011 in the Screenwriting department and graduated in 2015.
She worked, among others, as a screenwriter on the film Sibel, released in March 2019 and directed by Cagla Zencirci and Guillaume Giovanetti (Locarno Film Festival 2018) as well as on Notre- Dame du Nil by Atiq Rahimi (awarded the Crystal Bear at the Berlinale 2020, opening at Toronto 2019).
French-Senegalese, Ramata-Toulaye currently works between Dakar and Paris, where she has been relocating for a few months. In 2020, she directed her first short film, Astel, supported by the Aide avant réalisation of the CNC, Canal+ International, France 3 and the FOPICA. She is currently working on her first feature film.
