Double triumph: Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry and The Land Within win multiple prizes at Swiss Film Award

Alva Film team members shines under the spotlight alongside all the Swiss Film Award winners!

We're delighted to announce the exceptional achievements of two of our films at the Swiss Film Awards 2024!

The Land Within directed by Fisnik Maxville, with its beautiful soundscapes and landscapes, captivated the audience, earning the prestigious award for Best Film Score, attributed to the talented Nicolas Rabaeus. The composer was also awarded ex aequo for the film score of Bison by Pierre Monnard.

In addition, Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry by Elene Naveriani soared to success! The film scooped three awards. In addition of Best Fiction Film, and Best Editing, with Aurora Vögeli's outstanding work, the Quartz for the Best Screenplay honoured the film, an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Tamta Melashvili and cowritten by Elene Naveriani and Nikoloz Mdiviani.

These accolades are a testament to the dedication and talent of the entire teams behind both films. Congratulations to all involved for their remarkable contributions to cinema!
