A short fiction film by Aude Py and Bruno Ullmer

One night in Geneva, a young illegal Syrian immigrant who is being threatened takes refuge in the porno cinema, Splendid. There he meets an Iranian woman who has also found safety living in this separate world.

Aude Py

Born in 1973 in Geneva (Switzerland). After studying philosophy at the university of Sorbonne in Paris, she started writing films. Since 2001 she writes for the cinema. 2012-15 taught screenplay at HEAD (School of Art and Design – Geneva). Since 2012 she is an expert at the Fondation Romande pour le cinema.

Bruno Ulmer

Born in Morocco. For twenty years, he has been making feature-length documentaries. In January 2012 lecturer at the Cinéma du réel department at the HEAD (University of Art and Design – Geneva).
