Lucile (40) and Paul (30) are called to their parents' home because their mother is dying. Both were unaware of her illness, but discover another secret: their mother has assumed Lucile's identity to heavily indebt herself through consumer loans. In this urgency, before their mother passes away, Lucile must find the path to forgiveness and, along with her brother, save much more than just furniture.

Catherine Cosme
Catherine Cosme is a Belgian director, artistic director, and set designer. She works in both cinema and theater, drawing inspiration from these two worlds. Her first short film, Les Amoureuses, sensitively addresses the discovery of desire through three women. It has been selected for numerous international festivals, including Brest, MECAL in Barcelona, and Paris Courts Devant. With Famille, her second film, she explores intercultural encounters. Widely distributed around the world, the film has been featured in festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Tampere, Palm Springs...
