Born in 1991 in a green Waldensian countryside, Matthias Staub quickly discovered a passion for painting and drawing and more generally the image. He began to practice these different disciplines, making a series of portraits in painting as well as several short films. A few years later, he decided to go to the cinema and he studied at HEAD in Geneva. After completing his studies, he goes on a trip almost a year. Upon his return, he worked as an independent director and as a cinematographer.
